James "Ronnie" Cornett, 70, of Tiffin, passed away January 5, 2016 at his residence. James was born April 3, 1945, in Whitesburg, KY, to the late James Monroe and Ocie (Halcomb) Cornett. Survivors include his children, Mary Jo Bowen of Whitesburg, Willie Monroe Cornett of Whitesburg, Virginia Kay Niece of Whitesburg, Adam James Cornett III of Tiffin, five grandchildren, three brothers, E.L. Cornett of Tiffin, Jack Cornett of Whitesburg, KY, Ernie Cornett of Roxana, KY, four sisters, Nora Bell Cardwell of Tiffin, Mary Lou Miller of Tiffin, Norma Young of Tiffin, Judy Breeding of London, KY, Linda Reed of Whitesburg, KY and a lifelong companion, Ruth Clouse of Tiffin. Ronnie was a retired dump truck driver and a member of Tiffin Eagles and the Masonic Lodge. Ronnie was a United States Army Veteran serving during Korea. Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Dempsey, Cecil and John Cornett and a sister, Kathy Company. A memorial service will be at 12:00 p.m., January 9, 2016 at the Little Faith Ministries in Tiffin with Pastor Stephanie Little officiating. There will be visitation for family and friends also on Saturday, from 11:00 a.m., until the time of the service. The Engle Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in c/o Engle Shook Funeral Home, 135 N. Washington Street, Tiffin, OH 44883.
