16 Jun 2006: Elva K. Deppen, 94, formerly of Hershey, died Tuesday, June 13, 2006 in the Twin Oaks Nursing Center, Campbelltown. She was born December 9, 1911, in New Kingston, a daughter of the late Harry and Annie (Eberly) Keckler. She was the widow of Floyd E. Deppen; member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Hershey, former member of Hershey American Legion Post #286 Auxiliary, AARP, and Hershey OAKS. Surviving are son Michael R. Deppen of Bloomsburg; daughter Linda J. Rich of Byhalia, MS; granddaughters Theresa Stewart and Krystle Boling; great- grandchildren Cynthia, Kayla, Michael and Kaylee; and several nieces and nephews. Service Monday, June 19, at Hoover Funeral Home & Crematory, Hershey. Interment in Hershey Cemetery. [Harrisburg Patriot-News]
