LOLA NADINE RYBURN BORDEN began her earthly journey on June 13, 1921, in Howe, Oklahoma. With her parents, William Henry Ryburn and Willie Alma Webb Ryburn, the family eventually included James Edwin Ryburn, Opal Kathleen Ryburn Mangum, Ella Jo Ryburn Marshall and Patsy Anne Ryburn Kidd.
Nadine was married in 1939 to Tom Robert Borden. Their union brought three daughters, Helen Louise, Judy Karen and Rebecca Sue. Although they were divorced prior to Tom's death in 1986, their love and strength of character taught their daughters well - - lessons of life and living that are learned through example and life in action.
Nadine nurtured her daughters to become loving Christian mothers, homemakers and GOOD COOKS!! Tom inspired a love of nature and the outdoors and all of God's living things, plant and animal.
OH WHAT FISHING TALES WE CAN TELL!!
Mother began her Heavenly journey in the early morning hours of August 26, 2006, with one last quiet breath on earth, and the next on Heaven's shore.
Today, August 30, 2006, we return Mother to the place of her birth, Howe, Oklahoma, to rest beside her parents until that final trumpet sounds and we shall rise for that meeting in the air.
WHAT A DAY THAT WILL BE !!
