Talitha Isabel (Ingram) Thomas was born to Garland Ingram & Johanna Mayes.

On July 7, 1845, Talitha married David Price Thomas, Sr. in Roane County, Tennessee. To this union were born 14 children:

* Garland Ingram (Garl) Thomas (3/22/1846 - 7/087/1916)
* Solomon Alexander (Dud) Thomas (9/27/1847 - 10/31/1935)
* Eliza Hanover Thomas Ross (12/03/1848 - 10/25/1937)
* Melinda Jane Thomas Ross (8/1850 - 1936)
* Henderson Wheat Thomas (2/28/1853 - 12/20/1921)
* Sanford Nelson (Tamp) Thomas (1/03/1854 - 6/10/1914)
* George Turner Thomas (2/13/1855 - 6/18/1932)
* Elizabeth (Betty) Thomas Bell (1857 - ?)
* Claborn Hobbs (Cabe) Thomas (2/21/1860 - 6/25/1944)
* Davey Grey Thomas (2/21/1860 - 4/10/1860)
* David Price (Dave) Thomas, Jr. (3/17/1863 - 9/11/1933)

Elder David Price Thomas, Sr. (Talitha's husband) was a Primitive Baptist Preacher. He died and is buried in Young County, Texas (Medlan's Chapel Cemetery).

After his death, some of the family migrated into Oklahoma. Some members of the Thomas family still reside in the Washita/Greer/Beckham Counties of Oklahoma.

Talitha has been buried in an unmarked grave until 8/29/06 when descendants placed a stone at her grave. It reads:
