ROSEMARY BACKUS (nee Martin), age 91, passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 22, 2015 with her family at her side. Beloved wife of the late William J. Sr.; dear mother of the late William J. Jr., sister of the late Thomas Martin.

Rosemary was very family oriented, an avid bridge player, also a world traveler who visited many countries with our dear Grandma B. Rosemary and Bill loved the Cape and went to Chatham, MA every year for 20 years. We were also very proud of Mom when she went back to college and got her Bachelor's Degree in Education at age 60. Rosemary was a St. Chris parishioner for the past 45 years and a long time member on the social concerns committee. Funeral Mass 10 A.M. Saturday, October 3rd, St. Christopher Church, 20141 Detroit Rd. The family will receive friends at The Gathering Area of St. Christopher's Church from 9 A.M. until time of Mass. Interment Lakewood Park Cemetery. Family suggests memorial contributions to Ames Hospice House, 30080 Hospice Way, Westlake, OH 44145.
