Obituary reads: Mrs. Ida Kintner Askren, wife of Charles Askren died at her home southeast of Corydon last Friday morning. She had been ill of dropsy for some time and last Thursday morning she suffered a stroke of paralysis which resulted in her death the following day. The deceased was forty-eight years of age and is survived by her husband and the following children. John of Argenta, ILL, Arch, Dan, Smith, Mrs. Talmage S(c)haffer and Gladys all of this county. Funeral services were held at Heidelburg church. southwest of Corydon las Sunday morning conducted by Rev. M.C. Patterson and burial was in the adjoining cemetery.
