Stanley C. E. Smith, a retired manager of the Congress Hotel, who resided at 900 SW Atwater St., Lake Oswego, died Thursday. He was 87.
A native of Portland, Mr. Smith was born on March 21, 1886.
He was manager of Smith & Watson Iron Works in Portland several years ago.
Survivors include his daughter, Judith S. Hedlund, Portland; sister, Helen S. Besson, Portland; and two grandchildren.
Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Riverview Cemetery Chapel with interment in Riverview Cemetery.
