Steve Rowe officiating. Burial will be in Hurricane Cemetery. Mrs. Chandler died Monday, October 24, 1994 at Homer Memorial Hospital in Homer, La. after a lengthy illness. She was a member of the Athens Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ebin V. Chandler and one son, Revis Chandler. She is survived by three sons, Reese Chandler and wife, Mary of Waco, TX, Ralph Chandler and wife, Martell of Athens, La., Dean Chandler and wife, Inita of Minden, La.; two daughters, Evelyn Coleman of Bossier City, La., Melver Stassen and husband, Ralph of Athens, La.; one daughter-in-law, Clara Chandler of Minden, La.; one sister, Dessie Mae Anglin and husband Bill of Athens, La.; 19 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews. Memorials may be made to Athens Baptist Church. Rose-Neath Funeral Home Arcadia Chapel.
