ATHENS - Mrs. Mollie McBride Bush, 88, of Athens died Thursday at 6 p.m. in Arcadia Hospital following a long illness.
Funeral rites will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Athens Baptist Church. Burial will be in Hurricane Cemetery under the direction of Conger Funeral Home of Arcadia.
Mrs. Bush was a native of Claiborne Parish and was a member of the Baptist Church in Athens.
She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Will Anglin and Mrs. E. V. Chandler, both of Athens; one son Daniel Bush of Blytheville, Ark., two sisters, Mrs. Delia Chandler of Arcadia and Mrs. Virgie Phillips of Bossier City; and 14 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
