Peter Harold Damm, 73, of Fallon, died Thursday morning in the Prairie Community Hospital in Terry of cancer.
He was born April 16, 1900, in Russell KS, a son of George and Marie Damm. He came to Froid in 1906.
On June 2, 1918, he married Katie Korb in Canada. They moved to Culbertson in 1920, where he worked as a blacksmith. In 1946, the family moved to Fallon where they had lived since. His wife died in 1967.
He married Elise Goujke (Eliese Goyke Schirrmacher)January 9, 1968, in Terry.
Survivors include the widow; four sons, Henry of Fallon, Emmanuel of Tempe AZ, Edward of Kalispell and Fred of Glendive; three daughters, Charolette Korb of Glendive, Caroline Roberts of Moorehead MI, and Mary Jackson of Andrew TX; two brothers, Emmanuel of Culbertson and George of Billings; a sister, Pauline Sackman of Culbertson, 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
