Emanuel Damm, 76, of Mesa, Ariz., died on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2001, at the St. Cloud Hospital.

A memorial service was held on Monday, Sept. 17, at the Grace United Methodist Church in Paynesville with Rev. Ric Koehn officiating.

Emanuel was born on Dec. 10, 1924, in Culbertson, Mont., to Peter and Katie (Korb) Damm. He served in the United States Navy during WW II. He established A&A Precast in Tempe, Ariz., which he owned and operated most of his life. He married Charlotte Wallace MacDougall on Jan. 8, 2000, in Chandler, Ariz.

Survivors include his wife, Charlotte; children, Kathleen Waldow of Buckeye, Ariz., Susan Speth of Good Year, Ariz., Sara Foster of San Diego, Calif., Julie Gibson of Overgaard, Ariz., and Paul Damm of Gilbert, Ariz.; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; stepchildren, Scott MacDougall of Chandler, Ariz., and Wendy Linn of New Hope; seven step-grandchildren; brother and sisters, Edward Damm of Alaska, Charlotte Korb of Glendive, Mont, and Mary Stuert of San Angelo, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Viola, and a son, Peter.
