Charles was the second of ten children born to John Frederick and Burnetta (Vandeveer) Lees. He married Della Mae Wooley in 1895 and they had one son: Edgar Marion.

Va.; Mrs. Carrie Snideman, Denver, and Mrs. Jennie Hahn of Boulder, Mont. Two grandchildren also survive. Services our chapel, Thursday at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Mountain View.
