Oleta Hale Taylor, age 77, died on Monday evening, November 30, 1998 , at the Earlenger Hospital in CHarttanooga, Tn. of injuries suffered in an automobile accident on South Congree Blvd. Smithville, TN.

She was a resident of 4203 Blue Springs Road to Smlthville and retired school teacher and a shirt factory worker. Member of the Short Mountain Methodist Church in Smithville, Tn.
Ms. Taylor was preceded in death by her parents, the late Roy and Allie Grizzle Hale, and her brother Walter Hale.

She is survived by her husband, Thurman Taylor of Smithville; two sons: Dudley Taylor of Knoxville, TN, Larry Taylor of Lebanon, TN; two sisters: Virginia Wood of Woodbury, TN, and Betty Sullens of Woodbury, TN; and four grandchildren.
Services were held on Wednesday, December 2, 1998 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Walker
Funeral Home. Burial was in DeKalb Memorial Gardens.
Royce Martin and Bratten Tucker officiated.
Pall bearers are Frank Sullens, James Wood, Wayne Wood, Joel Bratcher, Bob Goundry, and Joe Underhill.
Walker Funeral Home in Smithville, Tn were in charge of arrangements.
