Betty Sue Sullens, age 86, passed away Saturday night at her residence. She was a member of the Short Mountain United Methodist Church. She was retired from Carrier and a homemaker.

Ms. Sullens was preceded in death by her Husband, Frank Brown Sullens; Parents, Roy and Allie Mae Grizzle Hale; Brothers, Walter Hale and Joe Swan Hale; Sisters, Oleta Taylor and Virginia Wood.

She is survived by her Children, Jonell (J.M.) Bratcher of Woodbury, Peggy (Donnie) Scott of McMinnville, Regina (Pete) Sadler of Dearborn, Mich., Frank (Darlene) Sullens of Morrison; Grandchildren, Jason (Joel) Bratcher, Corey (Joan) Sadler, Leslie (Jon) Martin, Jenna Sullens, Josh Winfree, Brian Scott and Cody Sullens; 4 Great-grandchildren; Sister-in-law, Henrietta Hale. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Services will be conducted Tuesday November 24, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Funeral Chapel with Bro. Bratten Tucker and Bro. Royce Martin officiating with burial to follow at DeKalb Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be Monday 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of the service at the funeral home.
