Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod pastor who served congregations in Alberta. He became president of the LCMS's Alberta-British Columbia District in 1930 and served until 1951, at which time he became the executive secretary of the district, serving until 1969. Because of his years of service to the LCMS he was awarded the "Christo Ecclesiae" medallion by Concordia College, Edmonton, Alberta in 1980.
