Ethel was born April 6, 1922 in Ringgold County, Iowa. She married Audrey Claire Bowen, August 30, 1939 [at Hatfield, Harrison County, Missouri - this information from Jack Williams, contributor number: 46856865]. She was a retired nurse and housewife. A member of Blythedale First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Lottie (Hullinger) Parkhurst; husband, Audrey; grand [son], Victor Bowen, seven brothers, [and] four sisters.

Survivors include, daughters, Coleen (George) Houston, Stanberry; Dorothy (Charles) Graham, Blythedale; sons, Harold (Dixie), Eagleville; Deryle Gene (Sharon), Eagleville; sister, Lucille Fibranz, Grandview; thirteen grandchildren, four step grandchildren, thirty-one great grandchildren, three step great grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren, two step great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services were Wednesday, January 18th, at Polley-Slaughter-Polley Memorial Chapel, Ridgeway. Burial Cedar Hill Cemetery, Blythedale.
