GRACE I. HALE, 83, died Friday at her home in West Covina. Born in Lamoni, Iowa, Mrs. Hale lived in Hemet 14 years. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Hale was a member of Hemet Valley Southern Baptist Church.

She is survived by a son, Jerry of Texas; a daughter, Sharon Collett of La Puente; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Lucille Fibranz and Ethel Bowen, both of Missouri.

Memorial services are planned for a later date in Missouri. Inurnment will be private. McWane Family Funeral Home in Hemet is handling arrangements.
