Mary Ann Haydon of Rudyard, Michigan, died at 3:00 a.m. today, Tuesday, October 24, 1944, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lloyd Desrochers at Rudyard.
Mrs. Haydon, who had been ill for the past year, was born in Canada on February 11, 1868 and was the widow of the late James Haydon, who died in 1925.
She is survived by five sons, Edward of Rudyard, James of Iron river, and Timothy, Patrick and William of the Sault, and three daughters, Mrs. Lloyd (Norah) Desrochers, Rudyard, Mrs. Arthur (Margaret) Desrochers, Marquette, and Mrs. Laurie (Helen) Larson, Pontiac.
Twenty-six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive.
The body will be taken to the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lloyd Desrochers at Rudyard this evening, and funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, October 26, at St. Joseph's church of Rudyard, of which she was a member.
The Rev. Robert J. Cordy will officiate at the services, and burial will be made in the family lot in North Rudyard cemetery.
