EDMUND HAYDON
Edmund B. Haydon, about 65 of 5 1/2 Mile Road, died at the War Memorial Hospital at 2:35 a.m. today. He had been ill since last January. He was born in Rudyard. His wife Ida, died in 1929. He was a farmer at Rudyard, and a member of St. Joseph's Church in the Sault. Surviving are two sons, Edgar of Detroit and Melvin of Rochester, Minn; a daughter, Mrs. Chris (Eleanor) Parr of Neebish Island; seven grandchildren; three brothers,Timothy, Patrick and William Haydon, all of the Sault; and two sisters, Margaret Desrochers of Escanaba and Mrs. Lauri Larson of Rudyard. The body is at the Bailey-Newhouse Funeral Home, where friends may call beginning at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Prayers will be said at the funeral home at 8 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be conducted at St. Joseph's Church in the Sault at 10 a.m., Wednesday. The Rev Joseph Desrochers, a nephew, will officiate and burial will be in North Rudyard Cemetery.
