Paul H. Brower was born October 3, 1925 in Rush Hill, the son of Harry W. and Ruth McManamy Brower.
He married Donna Belle Bartels on December 24, 1959 in Mexico. She was the daughter of Albert Christian Bartels, 1890–1970, and Ada Marie Adams Bartels, 1896–1968. Donna preceded him in death on May 16, 1998.
Mr. Brower had been employed by Kaiser Refractories and served in the Army during World War II.
He was a member of Love Street Christian Church. He loved to fish and had called square dances.
Survivors include one son, Paul Brower, Jr. of St. Louis; six daughters, Alice Pierceall of Auxvasse, Donna Speckles of Vandalia,* Clara Clark and Beverly Brower, both of Mexico, Paula Brower-Jackson of Columbia and Mary Ruth Lotta of Tulsa, Oklahoma.; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two brothers, John Brower of Mexico and Jesse Brower of Lockridge, Iowa.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister.
Memorials are suggested to the Missouri Veterans' Home.
