Bobby Gene Brower, 73, of McQueeney, died June 7, 2001.
Visitation will be held Monday from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Goetz Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 12, 2001 at Goetz Memorial Chapel with the Reverend David Eikenburg officiating.
Mr. Brower was born July 24, 1927 in Mexico, MO to Harry and Ruth Brower.
He was an active member of the McQueeney Baptist Church.
Bobby Brower was an active member of the Little People of America; he was the first controller of Smitty's Grocery Store for 20 years; he was a member of the Toast Masters of America and he was a realtor in both Texas and Arizona.
Mr. Brower is survived by his best friend, Jim Mitchell of McQueeney; son, Charles Brower of Tempe, Arizona; daughter, Cathy Gibson of Glendale, Arizona; daughter, Vicky Brower of Missouri; brother, Phil Brower of California; brother, Paul Brower of Missouri; brother, John Brower of Missouri; brother, Jesse Brower of Missouri; nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Ruth Brower; brother, Joe Brower; brother, Sammy Brower and an infant sister. Arrangements are under the direction: Goetz Funeral Home Seguin, Texas 78155
