She married Casey W Gordon in June, 1913. They set up housekeeping in the Mt Washington, Fairmount areas and started their family in 1915. She raised 4 boys and 1 girl and they retired to a small farm in Grandview, MO some time after 1970.
She was a member of the Mt Washington Order of the Eastern Star, the Grandview United Methodist Church and the Jolly Janes Birthday Club.
She survived her husband by 17 years and leaves four sons: Casey W Gordon Jr, Frankfort, KY; Kenneth Gordon, Grandview, MO; Marvin A Gordon, Kansas City, MO; Donald E Gordon, Kansas City, MO; one daughter, Mrs. Carol A Bertram, Oklahoma City, OK; a sister, Mrs. Helen Schwartz, Jefferson City, MO; 20 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
