Obituary: Chicago Tribune (IL) - June 01, 1941
F. Louis Huguelet, a retired tea and coffee merchant, died yesterday in his home at 1254 East Walter street, Northbrook. He was 73 years old. He was a former clerk of Northfield township, and a former secretary of the Northbrook Civic association. Mr. Huguelet was a captain in the 3d Illinois provisional regiment during the Spanish-American war and a captain in the old Chicago Zouaves. The funeral will be held from his home at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday to St. Norbert's Catholic church. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery. He leaves his widow, Theresa; three sons, and two daughters.
