Thousands of my photos - and those of others - have been rotated 90 degrees by the Find A Grave system. They said:

"The issue is that Chrome honors the orientation value that can be stored in a photo but other browsers do not so if you view a photo with the orientation included it will display differently in each browser. Log in on the memorial and the individual photo you uploaded. Click on the photo to see the rotate tool. Changes are saved automatically."

I don't really know what that means, but if you run across any rotated photo, even if it's not yours, click on the photo and use the circular arrows at the bottom to rotate it back to horizontal.

Anyone is welcome to use my headstone photos for non-commercial purposes.

If you are taking photos of your ancestors' headstones or memorial plaques, please also take photos of some surrounding headstones or memorial plaques to post on Find A Grave.

Consider adopting a local cemetery and taking photos of all the gravestones!
