July 2, 1845 - Ozias Simmons purchased land in Bureau County, Illinois. Legal description - NWSW Section 24, Township 14 N, Range 8E, Meridian 4.
1860 census - Oziah and Susannah Simmons were living in Indiantown Twp. Bureau County, Illinois. Children listed were Ellen 18 years, William 16 years, Nancy 14 years, Elizabeth 12 years.
The only information I know about her death is the information in the book " History of Stark County, Illinois by M.A. Leeson" page 588 which states ..... Susanna Simmons died 1862.
I don't know the month or date of her death or where she died.
The 2003 index for this cemetery shows that she is buried at the cemetery but that there is no tombstone for her.
Thank-you to Find A Graver Daniel Gosnell.
If anyone knows any more information about her please e-mail me.
Thanks,
Jan
