Patricia M. Koltis, 82, of Thorp, died on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Ministry Our Lady of Victory Hospital in Stanley.
Funeral services will be at 12 p.m. Thursday, May 7 at St. Bernard-St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church in Thorp. Burial will follow in St. Bernard’s Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be at Thorp Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 6 and at church, on Thursday, from 11 a.m. until time of service.

PATRICIA M. KOLTIS, age 82, of Thorp, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Our Lady of Victory Hospital in Stanley, WI. Funeral services will be held at 12pm on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at St. Bernard-St. Hedwig's Catholic Church in Thorp. Rev. Janusz Kowalski will officiate and burial will follow in St. Bernard's Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Nathan Koltis, Ryan McQuillan, Jeff Hull, Don Danielewicz, Ron Haas and Tom Smasal. Visitation will be held at Thorp Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 from 4pm to 8pm, and again at church, on Thursday, from 11am until time of service.
Patricia Mae Haas was born on June 4, 1932 in Thorp, WI to Joseph and Anna (Banderob) Haas. She was raised on the family farm and received her education at area schools, graduating from Thorp High School in 1950. After high school, Pat worked at the Big 4 Cannery and Blue Moon Cheese Factory, in Thorp. She was united in marriage to Adolph L. Koltis on October 20, 1956. In addition to being a homemaker and raising her family, Pat worked at Reit's Floral, Mary's Floral and Flower's by Lana for many years.
In her spare time, Pat enjoyed cake decorating, crocheting, crossword puzzles, playing cards, and being with her grandchildren.
She was a member of St. Bernard-St. Hedwig's Catholic Church and its PCCW, the Thorp American Legion Auxiliary, City of Thorp Library Board for 11 years; and the Busy Dozen Homemakers.
She is survived by two sons: Mark (Sally) Koltis and Scott (Marilyn) Koltis, both of Thorp; five grandchildren: Jennifer Koltis, Sarah (Ryan) McQuillan, Nathan Koltis, Hannah Koltis and Katie Koltis; one great-grandson: Grant McQuillan; one brother: Jim (Tommye) Haas of Burlington, WI; two sisters: Marian (Ed) Hull of Thorp, Ethel (Jim) Gresner of Chippewa Falls; one sister-in-law: Inez Haas of Romeoville, IL; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Adolph, on April 15, 2010; four sisters: Vilus Hanson, Ruth Dupy, Alice Haas and Joyce Haas; and two brothers: Dean and Melburn Haas.
