Anna Hanson was born May 18, 1883 in Alexandria township, where she grew to womanhood. She was graduated from the Moorhead State Teachers College, after which she taught for several years in the Douglas county schools. She moved to Los Angeles 17 years ago, following the death of her invalid sister, Ida, with whom she had made her home. Preceding her in death were her parents, Erick and Wilhelmina Hanson, and two sisters, Mabel and Ida Hanson. Survivors include Vice Admiral (retired) E. W. Hanson of La Jolla, Calif., Mrs. E. R. Peterson (Beda) of Portland, Ore., Paul O. Hanson of Eugene, Ore., Hilding E. Hanson of Minneapolis and C. Fred Hanson of Alexandria.
