She attended the Alexandria high school and the St. Cloud Teachers College and for several years she taught in the rural schools of Douglas county. In 1909 she became afflicted with inflammatory rheumatism, and since 1910 she had been an invalid. Her patience and cheerfulness were an inspiration to everyone with whom she came in contact.
She is survived by her father, Erick Hanson of Alexandria; two sisters, Anna Hanson of Ada and Beda (Mrs. E. R. Peterson) of this city; and four brothers, Edward W. Hanson of Newport, Rhode Island, Paul O. Hanson of Hallock, Minn., C. Fred Hanson of Alexandria, and Hilding E. Hanson of Ada, Minn.
Funeral services were held Thursday, April 11th from the Anderson Funeral Home. Interment was made in Kinkead cemetery. The pallbearers were Elon Hanson, Wilbur Nordell, Oscar Wahlstrom, Oscar Jobe, Albert T. Olson and Oscar Henningsgaard.
