Obituary - Rhea Lucille Snow Tracy, 79 of Salt Lake City, a resident of the Beehive House at the turn of the century and an actress and writer, died July 9, 1976, at a Salt Lake City hospital.
Funeral services were held July 14 in Salt Lake City with burial in the Brigham City cemetery. Aaron Snow of Perry, a great nephew, dedicated the grave.
Mrs. Tracy was born Nov. 5, 1896 in Cardston, Alberta, Canada, to President Lorenzo and Sarah Minnie Jensen Snow. She was the youngest of 42 children born to President Snow and his last surviving child.
She was married to Charles Garfield Tracy on June 10, 1918 in Farmington. He died in 1956.
She was an active member of the LDS church and served in many auxiliaries. She had served on her stake's Indian Affairs committee in California.
She lived in the Beehive house until five years of age. She later became an actress in vaudeville and in motion pictures, wrote scenarios and radio plays, taught drama and was the author of several books and many poems.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mauvia Snow Bradford of Salt Lake City; and Mrs. Gabriel A. (Norlyn) Torres of Bountiful; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
