William M Caffey, 70, died December 13 in Santa Rosa, California.
Graveside services were scheduled for Friday at 1 p m in Santa Rosa Memorial Park. A memorial service followed at 2 p. m. at First Presbyterian Church of Santa Rosa .
Arrangements were under the direction of Eggen and Lance Mortuary, Santa Rosa.
Mr. Caffey was born in Westbrook on October 2, 1926. He was the son of the late A. T. and Pearl Caffey. A United States Navy veteran of World War II and a graduate of Texas Christian University, Mr. Caffey was a geologist for Standard Oil of Texas for 16 years
and the owner of the Copper Penny Restaurant in Santa Rosa for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Gill Caffey of Santa Rosa, two daughters, Claudia Lee Caffey of Santa Rosa and Michelle Welch Kropp of Petaluma, California; two grandchildren, Cynthia and Brian Kropp of Petaluma, three brothers, E C (Cliff) Caffey
of Midland, Jack D. Caffey of Arlington and the late Bob Caffey of Arlington; and two sisters, Archie Lee Roberts of Ft. Worth and Virginia Hanley of Costa Mesa, California.
