Alma Scott, 99, of West Lafayette passed away on Monday, March 09, 2015 at 5:45 p.m. at Heritage Health Care. Alma was born on November 23, 1915 in Farmington, MO., one of the eight children to the late George Washington and Permelia Anne (Bowling) Smith. Surviving is one daughter, Betty (husband: Otto) Burns of Lafayette, 17 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 27 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by 2 sons, 2 daughters, 6 sisters, and 1 brother. Services will be held on Friday, March 13, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior at Simplicity Funeral Care with Celebrant Carla Ellis officiating. Simplicity Funeral Care entrusted with care.
