Mrs. Andreas Peterson [Petersen], 65 years of age, living with her son, three miles west of town, has more than her share of misfortunes in her declining years. Last winter one of her great toes began to ulcerate and soon the bone had to be removed from it. When the wound was just nicely healing she was attacked with pneumonia. The toe sloughed farther back and will have to be amputated, Dr. F. A. Long is her attending physician.
