Funeral services for Ocean Moorman Hand, 95, of Scobey, are at 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at the National Funeral Home Chapel . Burial will follow in Greenville Cemetery at 2 p.m.

Visitation is Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at National Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hand died Monday, January 26, 2015 at her home in Scobey.

She was born on July 21,1919 and was the daughter of the late Elmer Fletcher Moorman and Lettie Mae Arbuckle Moorman of Cascilla, MS.

Mrs. Hand was a homemaker. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Greenville, MS and attended The Church of the Nazarene in Rosebloom, MS.

Mrs. Hand is survived by 2 sons, Billy (Annette) Hand of Scobey, MS and Ronnie Hand of Grenada, MS; 2 sisters, Jean Williamson and Mary Demouey, MS; 8 brothers, Elmer Moorman, Jr., Dewey Moorman, W. T. Moorman, Mac Moorman, John Moorman, Paul Moorman, Raymond Moorman and Stewart Moorman. Three grandchildren, Michael Hand, Ronnie Hand II and Lisa Hand. Two great-great-grandsons, Cayden Kerr and Jax White.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie I. Hand; 1 son, Charles Curtis Hand; 1 great-granddaughter, Jessica White; 3 sisters, Peggy Wilcox, Mildred Martin and Bernice Pyburn; 3 brothers, J. T. Moorman, Clifton Moorman and Arnold Moorman.

Bro. Phillip Bumpers will be officiating the services.
