Elmer Fletcher Moorman Jr., 83, of Scobey, died Thursday, May 10, 2018 at the MED in Memphis, Tennessee with his family by his side.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, May 15th, 2018 at Pentecostals of Grenada, under the direction of Mortimer National Funeral Home.

Interment will follow in Smith Cemetery, Rosebloom, Mississippi.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM Monday, May 14th, 2018 at Mortimer National Funeral Home.

Elmer was born June 30th, 1934, the son of Elmer Fetcher Moorman, Sr. and Allie Huddleston Moorman.

He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force; where he served during the Korean War.

He was preceded in death by his parents; step daughter, Debbie Ashworth, half-brothers, Clifton Moorman and JT Moorman; half-sister, Myrtle Wilcox; brother, Arnold Moorman; and sisters, Ocean Hand, Mildred Martin, and Bonnie Pyborn.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah Ann Roberts Moorman; two daughters, Phebia (Michael) Merrill of Grenada, and Sharon McNabb of Elliott; nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; sisters, Wilma Williamson and Mary Frances Moorman; and brothers, Dewey Moorman, WT Moorman, Mac (Peggy) Moorman, John Moorman, Paul (Kay) Moorman, Raymond Moorman, and Stewart Moorman.

Pallbearers are: Billy Hand, Ronnie Hand, Stewart Moorman, Mac Moorman, John Moorman, Fletcher Moorman, Mark Moorman, and Eddie Moorman.
