He was the son of Johnson Carney and Epse Pickens.Mr. Carney was a member of the Pickens Baptist Church.He is survived by two sons, Edmond Carney and Sam Martin Carney of Ardmore; a brother, Irving Carney of Wichita, Kansas; a sister, Martha Lou Wilmond of Ardmore; 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.Services were under the direction of Craddock Funeral Home, Ardmore
