Katie B. Martin 68 of Columbia, TN departed this life to go live with the Lord on December 21st, 2014.


Katie was born on December 11, 1946 to the late, John M and Bettye M Steele Webster in the Hampshire community.


She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant, Tn. She attended Clarke Training High School and worked for a while at Heritage Manor Nursing Center.


She leaves to cherish her memory daughter Sandra Hatton of Hohenwald, TN; son John Edward Martin of Columbia, TN; brothers Samuel Jordan of Columbia, TN, and Marshall Steve (Katie R.) Webster of Hampshire, TN; sisters Mary Ann Webster and Deborah Cathey of Hampshire, TN and devoted sister Dorothy Mae (Kenneth) Carter of Columbia, TN; 8 grandchildren 2 devoted, Shanika and Christopher Hatton; 6 great grandchildren and host of other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.


She was preceded in death by brother John Henry Jordan and Netia Ruth Webster, a loving companion James Bryson and a devoted cousin Freddie Gordon Jones.


Funeral Sat 1 pm at Baxter Bros. Funeral Home.
