John Henry Jordan, 62, of Columbia died May 10, in Detroit, MI.

Services will be held at 2 pm Monday at New Hope U.P.B. Church in Mt. Pleasant with Elder Richard Carter Sr. officiating.

Burial will be in Pinecrest Memorial Garden. The family will visit with friends from 6-8 p.m., Sunday at Baxter Brothers Funeral Home.

He was the son of John Jordan and Betty Mae Webster and was married to Willie Mae Jordan. He was a graduate of Clark Training High School, a member of New Hope U.P.B. Church and retired from Monsanto Chemical Company in Michigan.

Survivors include sons Michael Jordan, John Robert Jordan and Billy Jordan, all of Columbia; daughters Norman Jean Calloway and Diane Bush; brothers Sammie Jordan and Steve Webster; sisters Dorothy Carter, Katie B. Martin, Mary A. Webster and Debra Cathey; 16 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
