Mr. Samuel Thomas Jordan Sr. age 74, of Hampshire, Tennessee passed away Friday, May 8, 2015, surrounded by his family.Mr. Jordan was born June 30, 1940 to the late Betty Mae Steele Webster and the late John Jordan.Mr. Jordan was also preceded in death by a brother John Henry Jordan and sisters Netia Ruth Webster and Katie Martin.He graduated from Clark Training High School. He was a retired employee of Dana Products in Lewis County. He enjoyed family cookouts and gatherings along with fishing and watching old western movies. He professed his faith in Jesus Christ and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee.Mr. Jordan is survived by five sons, Samuel T. (Sandra) Jordan Jr. of Columbia, Joe Jordan and Hollis J. Jordan both of Mt. Pleasant, Zeb Jordan of Columbia and Jarrod (Sonya) Johnson of Nashville; grandson, Christopher T. Jordan; sisters, a devoted sister, Dorothy (Kenneth) Carter of Columbia, Mary Ann Webster and Deborah Cathey both of Hampshire; brother, Marshall Steve (Katie) Webster of Hampshire; sister in law, Willie Mae Jordan of Columbia; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.Visitation with the family will be Friday, May 15, 2015 from 5-7 p.m. at Mt. Lebanon Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 16, 2015, 12 noon at Mt. Lebanon Missionary Baptist Church. Elder Richard Carter Eulogist.
