Eva married Brack Durham on December 27, 1912 in Jellico, Tennessee. She was 18 years old, he was 20. (Tennessee did not require letters of approval from parents.) Shortly after 1917, they moved to Ravenna in Estill County, Kentucky. They moved across the river to Irvine before 1930. Brack died in 1935. Eva lived in Irvine for the remainder of her life.
Eva and Brack had seven children: three sons and four daughters.
Eva died on September 3, 1955 at the age of 61. She and Brack are buried in the Oakdale Cemetery in Irvine, KY
