Preceding her in death were her father and mother and two sisters, Ada Marshall and Mrs. Winifred Beamer of Torrington, Wyoming.
Survivors include her husband; two brothers, James and Hubert, both of Monroe; and three sisters, Mrs. Beatrice Baumer of Knoxville, Mrs. Francis Sheeler of Otley and Mrs. Eva Beamer of Torrington, Wyo.; plus a number of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Hasselman grew up in the Monroe Tool's Chapel community and attended country school in this vicinity. She was united in marriage to John Hasselman at Pella on November 23, 1927. Her entire married life was spent at the residence in Pella until August 10 of last year when they felt it necessary to make their home at the "Home for the Aged" in Pella where they have remained.
With her husband she attended the Open Bible church as well as the Tuesday evenings services at the Gospel Chapel as long as her health permitted.
She was a kind and loving wife and a good companion and will be deeply missed by her husband and a host of relatives and friends.

Mrs. John (Florence) Hasselman, 76, a former resident of the Tool's Chapel community, died Monday at the Home for the Aged in Pella.
Mrs. Hasselman is survived by her husband: three sisters, Mrs. Bee Balmer of near Knoxville, Iowa. Mrs. Ralph Sheeler of near Monroe, Iowa; Mrs. Eva Beamer of Torrington, Wyoming. two brothers, James and Hubert Marshall both of Monroe, Iowa.
The daughter of G.F. & Belle Marshall, she was born east of Monroe, Iowa on 17 December 1883. Education in the Tool's Chapel community she was married 23 October 1927 to John Hasselman. She resided in the Pella community since her marriage.
