JOHN HASSELMAN DIES AT 83-- lifetime resident of the Pella community, died Friday at Pella Community hospital. Services were held Monday, January 13 at Garden Chapel, the Rev. David Sutton officiating. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery.
Hasselman was a retired farmer and carpenter. He was a member of the Open Bible Church.
Survivors include one brother two sisters, Mrs. Alida Elscott & Mrs. Jeanette Kaldenberg, both of Pella, Iowa, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Florence Marshall, and three brothers.
