Mr. Johnston was a son of the late Robert Pendleton and Emma Johnson Johnston. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Gloria Florence Johnston. An Army veteran of World War II, he was self-employed as a carpenter and a member of Knowles Chapel Methodist Church.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Beth Haven Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Perpetual Care Fund at Beth Haven Cemetery, 646 Pleasant Acre Farm Road, Nicholson, Georgia 30565.
