Graveside services for George Pendelton Johnston will be held at 2 p.m. today in Knowles Chapel Methodist Church cemetery. Mr. Johnston, 81, died Sunday, May 21, 2000. A native of Hancock County, he was a retired employee of the Department of Transportation. He was a member of Knowles Chapel Methodist Church.
Survivors include his children, Gloria Batchelor of Sparta,
Grace Reynolds, Mary Johnson, Lewis Johnson all of Milledgeville; and 18 grandchildren.
