Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Johnston, 82, of 123 Fairview Ave., who died Tuesday in a Macon hospital were held Wednesday in Knowles Chapel Methodist Churchin Sparta.
Mrs. Johnston, a native of Sparta, had lived in Macon for 12 years.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. David Epps of Macon; two sons, George P. Johnston of Sparta and Gordon Johnston of Athens; two sisters, Mrs. Frieda Veal of Milledgeville and Mrs. Zell Epps of Sparta; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
