Katherine Joyce Conaway, 64, of Winona, passed away on Oct. 23, 2014, at her home. Mrs. Conaway, a retired owner of a mail service business, was born on Aug. 15, 1950, in Amarillo. Following high school she worked as a receptionist. She moved to California and worked for California Tools before returning to Texas. Upon her return, she opened "The Mail Bag" on Texas Highway 155. She retired in 2002.
She is survived by her husband, John Conaway, of Winona; her mother, Dorothy Snider, of Lindale; sisters, Louise Washam, of Lindale, Dana Kelly, of Bullard, Pam Westbrook, of Amarillo; brother, Arthur Snider II, of Jasper; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Cryptside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2014, in Tyler Memorial Park Cemetery, 12053 Texas Highway 64 West, Tyler, with the Rev. James Cheatham officiating.
Reception will follow at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home.
