Mr. Boyd , a radio technician for the city of Amarillo, died at 12:12 pm Friday in St. Anthony's Hospital. He was stricken ill while at lunch and died shortly afterward.
He was born May 1919 in Texas and was a veteran of World War II. He had lived in Amarillo for 12 years and made his home at 320 N. Bryan.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy, three daughters Evelyn Louise, Kathy and Alice Faye Boyd, all of the home; his mother Mrs. Docia Boyd, of Amarillo and four brothers, Herman, Charles, Clarence and David all of Amarillo.
Pallbearers will be Joe Anderson, Emory O Deaver, Kenneth Goodman, V.C (Buck) Miller, O.R Davis and W. Leo Russell.
