She married first Roger Edwin Fredericks on 20 Jul 1957. She married second Lance Lavigne on 30 Nov 1968.

LAVIGNE, Gloria - of Mt. Morris, age 85, passed away Thursday, November 16, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Funeral Mass will be held 11AM Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at St. Mary's Catholic Church - 11110 Saginaw St., in Mt. Morris. The family will receive visitors at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, from 4PM until 8PM and at the church Wednesday from 10AM until the time of Mass. A Rosary will be prayed at 7PM Tuesday evening at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to St. Mary's Catholic Church or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
Gloria was born April 17, 1938, in Flint, to the late Bruce and Gertrude (Jones) Larkin. She attended St. Mary's Catholic School in Mt. Morris and was a wonderful stay-at-home mother for much of her life. Gloria was happily married to Roger Fredericks for 7 years. Roger preceded her in death in 1963. She married Lance Lavigne in 1968 and together they shared 46 years together. Lance preceded Gloria in death in 2014. Gloria was an avid member of St. Mary's Catholic Church for her entire life. She filled her life with love, creativity, and she had a passion for reading. She liked to keep her hands busy with crocheting and knitting, creating beautiful works of art that will forever be treasured by her family and friends. As a mother, she embraced her role wholeheartedly, providing unwavering support and guidance to her children and grandchildren. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering love shaped them into the individuals they have become. Gloria's presence will forever be felt, as her legacy of compassion and devotion lives on in the hearts of her loved ones.
Gloria is forever remembered by her children: Brian (Carolyn) Fredericks, Chris Fredericks, Roger (Kathy) Fredericks, Alicia Fredericks, Vicky (Ron) Fossett, Mary Lavigne, Gary Lavigne, and Jennifer (Kurt) Sherwood; 15 Grandchildren; 30 Great-Grandchildren; Brother, Aaron (Pamela) Larkin; Many nieces, nephews, extended family, and wonderful friends.
