Mrs. Vidito and her sisters, Georgina and Irene Dowell, came home from the States last week to see their mother, who was ill in the Memorial Hospital, Middleton. She going to her Heavenly home on Saturday night. Our deepest sympathy goes out to the nine children who are now bereft of a loving mother. The funeral service was held in the Baptist Church on Monday afternoon. Burial at Torbrook Mines Cemetery.

The burial of the late Mrs. H. Dowell took place on Monday, the 3rd, inst., when her body was laid beside that of her husband, who predeceased her some two years ago. We extend our sympathy to the bereaved children.
