John C. Roeting, 74, Palmyra, died Saturday, March 18, 2006, in M.S. Hershey Medical Center. He was born December 23, 1931, in Sporting Hill, PA, a son of the late Francis H. and Alice Mae (Brosey) Roeting. Mr. Roeting was a retired employee of the Milton Hershey School; Protestant by faith; a member of Spring Creek Lodge No. 802 F&AM in Hershey, the Harrisburg Consistory, Zembo Temple Shrine, and the Quittapahilla Rod & Gun Club. He was an avid fisherman and hunter but he especially enjoyed his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Surviving are his wife Jean R. (Weidman) Roeting; daughter Cindy, wife of Dennis Boldosser of Chambers Hill; three sons, Steven Roeting and his wife Nancy of Palmyra, Tracy Roeting of Sand Beach, and Terry Roeting and his wife Melody of Annville; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; also seven brothers and seven sisters. He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister. Service Wednesday, March 22, at Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory, Hershey. Masonic funeral service Tuesday.
