Ervan Adler, 46, Sycamore, Ill., formerly of Madison and Middleton, died Thursday night (Oct. 12, 1967) at a DeKalb, Ill., hospital.

An appliance salesman for a hardware firm, Mr. Adler had been an employe of the Great Plains Gas Co. Division in Madison before moving to Illinois about 10 years ago.

A graduate of Middleton High School, he was active in football, baseball, basketball and boxing.

Surviving are his wife, Catherine; three daughters, Pamela, Joan, and Libby, and a son, John, all at home; his mother, Mrs. Margaret Adler, Nazareth House, Stoughton; five sisters, Sister Dorothy Adler, Alverno College, Milwaukee; Mrs. Leonard Lamberty, Middleton, Sister Agatha Adler, Cicero, Ill.; Mrs. Leola Kahl, Middleton; and Mrs. John Dahmen, Argyle; and five brothers, Albert, Springfield Corners; Norbert, Prairie du Chien; Donald, Middleton; Eugene, 2410 Hoard St; and Harold, 510 Walton Pl.

The funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday in the Ronan-Birch Funeral Home in DeKalb.
